Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc – Best Mobile Phone of 2011?

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Specs, Features etc.

Sony unveiled their latest smartphone in the Xperia Series at CES 2011 called ‘Sony Xperia Arc’. It has a perfect match of hardware and software that makes it potentially one the bestselling mobile phones of 2011.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc runs on Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) and was one of the most anticipated and most impressive gadgets at CES 2011. The phone has an amazing hardware to support the software it runs on. With Bravia engine embedded in the device, the video and graphics performance multiplies and so does the fun.  :D
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Hardware Specs
A mobile phone is called ‘The Winning Phone’ only if it has something that lures attention of masses towards it and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc manages to do just that.

It has a groovy, stylish body design and a large 4.2” display screen. Although the display screen might be big for some but with time and patience anything settles down fine, so it may feel a little awkward in the beginning but later on it would become just fine.
Processing Power determines how quick you can multitask on a Smartphone. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has a 1 GHz SnapDragon Processor with a large 4.2” inches multi-touch capacitive touchscreen.
Other Specs:
  • Wi-Fi and 3G
  • 3.5mm Headphone Jack
  • Bluetooth
  • aGPS
  • HDMI
Sony Ericsson Xperia Series was also known for its cameras, Xperia X10 ran an 8MP camera so the expectations from Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc were high too.
For all the photographers and photo bloggers reading this post, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Smartphone has an 8.1 megapixel Sony Exmor sensor with Image Stabilization.
It records HD Videos in 720p resolution so it may decrease the amount of gadgets you carry while going to a party since it can beat almost any digital camera in terms of both picture clarity and quality.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Software Specs
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc runs on the latest version of Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread). Although it was specifically designed to come out for Tablet PCs but it seems now that Smartphones are incorporating too since it performs well on devices with powerful hardware.
I think Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is potentially a very good phone, it outnumbers almost every Smartphone in the market at the moment in terms of Hardware and also it supports every premium app from Android Market.
Price of Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is not defined yet by Sony and thus we would just have to wait till they do.
